Paying Attention Improves Wellness

Mindfulness is a process of paying attention moment-to-moment to your experience, noticing your breath, physical sensations, sounds, thoughts, and emotions--things we ordinarily ignore. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Women is a specially adapted mindfulness course for women. It is based on Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course, which was developed over 30 years ago at UMass Memorial Medical Center and has been proven through many studies to improve health, reduce stress and increase participants satisfaction with life.


Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction is a Scientifically Proven Methodology 

MBSR is globally renowned in the therapeutic and medical treatment of disease, chronic pain, and stress. MBSR involves the whole person in healing through mindfulness meditation and mindful movement.


Neuroscience has validated the positive effects of mindfulness on the brain. Through mindful awareness we can change neural patterns, link previously separated areas, and enable the brain to become more interconnected and adaptive.


MBSR Heals & Transforms

Mindfulness practices heal and transform our fragmented selves and create wholeness. Individuals who are practiced in mindfulness meditation are able to calm their emotions, create connections between ideas and concepts, integrate information, improve relationships, and evoke creativity through reflective practices that activate the innate human ability to pay attention.
